I would love to have a proper main menu system inside the server, something inspired by CS:GO’s interface, with options, friends, and an overall more modern feel. I know it would be really hard to make in the old CS 1.6 engine, but I think it would be absolutely lovely if it could happen.

The idea is that when players first connect, instead of spawning directly into a map or match, they would start on a login or welcome screen inside the server. From there, it would smoothly transition to a main menu area — a kind of interactive lobby or hub — where players could see all their personal information in one place.

They could open menus to check their inventory (skins, knives, cases, etc.), look at their stats and rank, view friends who are currently online, and maybe even invite them to join their lobby. There could also be buttons or menu options to choose different game modes — like Classic, Retake, Arms Race, or even Fun Mode — so players could select how they want to play without needing to disconnect.

Basically, the main menu would act like a central hub inside the server — giving it that CS:GO experience where you can browse, customize, and prepare before jumping into the actual game.

I think it would be an amazing concept. It would make the server feel more alive and dynamic, almost like a modern multiplayer hub instead of a simple match server. Even if it’s difficult to implement, the idea of having that login flow, then a menu with your profile, inventory, and friends, sounds like something that could make a CS 1.6 server truly stand out and feel next-generation.
